On March 3, 2022, the next lesson of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation for students of law schools took place in a remote format.

Before the lecture, employees of the department of legal education and interaction with scientific and educational organizations introduced the audience to the law education projects of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, which are planned to be held as part of the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Federal Constitutional Law "On the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation".

Then the participants of the lecture hall were greeted by the head of the department for the protection of human rights in the administrative process and places of temporary detention, candidate of legal sciences Anton Viktorovich Bazhanov.

The lecturer spoke about the activities of the Federal Ombudsman and her office in the field of human rights protection in the administrative process.

During the lecture, students were introduced to the topics of appeals within the framework of the administrative process, the participation of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the process of improving legislation.

The lecturer drew the audience's attention to the fact that the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation has the right to file an administrative claim for the recognition of illegal actions (inaction) of public authorities.

At the end of the event, Anton Viktorovich answered questions from students regarding violations of rights during rallies, the calculation of transport tax, the imposition of fines, etc.​

The event was attended by students of the Consortium of Russian Universities (PFUR, MGIMO, RSUH, KFU, Voronezh State University, Ural State Law University, Humanitarian University (Yekaterinburg)) mechanisms for ensuring and protecting the rights of the child.
