Yuliya Valeryevna Vasilyeva

In 1990 she graduated from the Law Faculty of the Perm State University.

From 1998 to 2011 – Associate Professor of the Department of Labour Law and Social Security, Perm State University.

From 2011 to 2012 – Professor of the Department of Labour Law and Social Security, Perm State University.

Since 2013 – Head of the Department of Labour Law and Social Security at Perm State University.

From 2014 to the present – Head of the Department of Labour and International Law (after the merger of the Department of International and European Law and the Department of Labour Law and Social Security).

Vasilyeva Yu.V. has undergone an internship at the University of Oxford (2002, 2011); at the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratization (EIUC), Fr. Lido, Italy (5th Venice Academy for Human Rights, 2014).

She is a member of the editorial board of the Russian Yearbook of Labour Law, the journal “Vestnik of the Perm University, Legal Sciences”.

Since 2013, Vasilieva Yu. V. has been a member of the Commission on Veterans’ Affairs under the President of the Russian Federation.

Also Vasilieva Yu. V. is the author of more than 80 published works on social security and labour law, including 5 monographs and 9 textbooks.
