Application conditions:

Application for admission in printed and electronic (on a CD) form in Russian;
CV in printed and electronic (on a CD) form in English;
Motivation letter in Russian and English in printed and electronic (on a CD) form;
A copy of the diploma of higher education and a supplement in printed and electronic (scanned) form on a CD;
Letter of recommendation from the employer (seen as an advantage);
Three matte photographs each, 3x4, 4x6;
Identity document, citizenship (copy).

Documents are accepted from May 25 to June 30, 2020 only in electronic form.

Education is carried out on a budget (for civil servants) and paid basis.

Criteria for the selection of students at the IES

Graduates of Russian universities and universities of the CIS member states must meet the following criteria:
completed higher education in accordance with Russian standards or the standards of the CIS member states;
be fluent in Russian;
have a working proficiency level in one of the working languages of the EU;
job occupation, related to international cooperation, can be seen as an advantage.

Graduates of foreign universities must meet the following criteria:
completed higher education in accordance with the standards in force in a respective country;
be fluent in one of the working languages of the EU;
have a working proficiency level in Russian language (written and oral aspects);
job occupation, related to international cooperation, can be seen as an advantage.

Trainee selection procedure

The enrolment board includes 4 members of the MP, representing Russian and European sides. The powers of the committee members can be delegated to experts. The composition of the committee is renewed on a rotating basis. The student's CV, motivation letter, a copy of the diploma are sent to the members of the committee by the administration of the Institute.
The selection procedure consists of one, two or three of the following stages:
    a) consideration of documents received by e-mail. The members of the committee consider the package of documents and provide their opinion to the administration of the Institute;
    b) in case of comments / questions to the candidate, one of the committee members conducts an interview with him by phone and reports the results to other committee members and the Institute administration;
    c) in case of a disputable candidacy, all committee members conduct interviews with him and submit an agreed proposal to the administration of the Institute.
