On November 28, 2022, Vyacheslav Eduardovich Tolmachev, Head of the Department of Bilateral International Cooperation, held a workshop lecture for students.

The lecturer told future lawyers about the activities of the Federal Ombudsman and her office in the field of international cooperation. During the lecture, such important issues as the protection of the rights of Russian citizens abroad, the activities of the Eurasian Ombudsman Alliance, the functions of UN treaty bodies, the interaction of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and many others were raised. The main topic of the lecture was the question of the universality of human rights.

The event was attended by students of the Consortium of Russian Universities (PFUR, MGIMO, RSUH) enrolled in the master's program "International Protection of Human Rights", undergraduates of the program "Legal Mechanisms for Ensuring and Protecting the Rights of the Child . Mediation" from the Moscow City Pedagogical University, as well as students of the Moscow State Law Academy named after O.E. Kutafin, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, RGUP, ROSNOU and RANEPA. In total, 53 people took part in the workshop-lecture.
