From February 5 to March 29, 2024, master’s students of the Institute of State and International Law Knyazeva Anastasia and Seydaly Adilkhan, studying in the program “International Protection of Human Rights,” underwent an internship in the Office of the Commissioner on human rights in the Russian Federation and in the Russian Red Cross (Moscow). The internship was organized by the Russian Inter-University Consortium for Human Rights.

Anastasia was given the opportunity to try herself in the state civil service in the Russian Autonomous Human Rights Association, gain new professional skills in the human rights field, including in the field of interaction with various international organizations. Adilkhan acquired new competencies in legal advice in the Refugee and Migrant Assistance Department of the RKK, where he was assigned due to his in-demand foreign language skills. The undergraduate also participated in organizing humanitarian aid and promoting knowledge about first aid and volunteering in the Red Cross.

Among other things, during the two-month internship, our students took part in various educational seminars and trainings from MSLA, AUHR, acquired many useful and interesting contacts, and organized themselves the most vibrant and eventful leisure time.< /p>

As part of the internship, the guys were paid for flights and accommodation.
