On December 11, 2023, the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia held a conference “Human Rights Dimensions of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (for the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights)”, which was dedicated to 75 -anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It discussed the universality of the tenets of the Declaration as a common standard of achievement for all peoples and states.

The event was organized within the framework of the interuniversity master's program "International Protection of Human Rights", implemented by the Russian Interuniversity Consortium on Human Rights with the support of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Affairs of the Russian Federation. More than 80 students, undergraduates and graduate students from Moscow and the regions took part in the conference.

E. Malitskaya – Chief Manager of the Sustainable Development Department of Norilsk Nickel
