<p style="text-align: justify">Master’s theses defence took place on 27 June via “Microsoft Teams” by  graduates of the master’s program “International Protection of Human Rights”,  implemented by the Faculty of Law of KFU as member of a Consortium of  Universities since 2013 under the auspices of the UN High Commissioner for  Human Rights.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">In addition to members of the State Attestation Commission, the thesis  defence was attended by the Coordinator of educational programs in Russia of  the OHCHR, Mr. Rashid Aluash, Professor of the Faculty of Law at the University  of Kinshasa (Congo), Dr. Vane Bameme, as well as the Coordinator of the  consortium from KFU, Doctor habilitatus (law) R.Sh. Davletgildeyev.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Within the framework  of the thesis defence procedure, master’s students of the “International  protection of human rights” program have brilliantly presented their master’s  theses; many of the works were especially noted by the commission. Among them  were: “Cultural heritage and human rights: international legal aspects” by  Timur Damirovich Gibadullin, “Activities of international sports organizations  and human rights” by Kasatkin Pavel Vyacheslavovich, “The impact of climate  change of the Earth on Human Rights” by Kaurin Boyany (Bosnia and Herzegovina),  “The length of the trial and the observance of human rights: a critical  analysis of the provisions and application of a reasonable time in  international criminal procedure” by Manzanga Ovida Kpanha (Democratic Republic  of Congo), “International and national legal mechanisms for prevention and eradication  of domestic violence” by Pavel Sergeevich Naumov, “Regulation of the right to  freedom of speech in international and national legal systems: doctrine,  legislation, judicial practice” by Kayumova Leysan Rinatovna, “International  legal protection of cultural values” by Zaripova Aigul Irekovna,  “Iinternational legal and domestic protection of human rights under the  conditions of biotechnological progress” by Mamedova Sevil Vahid kyzy,  “International cooperation in the field of mutual recognition of the equivalence  of educational documents” by Khabibullina Dinara Ganievna.</p>
