<p style="text-align: justify;">On 17 June master's theses defence took place  of the master’s students of the  “International Protection of Human Rights” program, implemented by the  Department of International Law of the RUDN Law Institute as member of  Consortium of Universities since 2013 under the auspices of the Office of the UN  High Commissioner for Human Rights.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The State Attestation Commission included: Head of the Department of  International Law of the RUDN University, Doctor habilitatus (law), Prof.  Abashidze A.Kh., Coordinator for the joint program of the UN OHCHR and the  Russian Federation Rashid Aluash, Associate Professor of the Department of  International Law, MGIMO, Cand. Jurid. Scien. Ivanov D.V., Coordinator of the  Master's program of the RUDN University, Cand. Jurid. Scien., Associate  Professor of the Department of International Law Anastasiya Belousova,  Professor of the Department of International Law of the Diplomatic Academy of  the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Cand. Jurid.  Scien. Yastrebova A.Yu. etc.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The master’s students presented their theses on various aspects of the  international protection of human rights. For example: “Mechanism of judicial  protection of human rights in the ECHR”, “International commissions of the  United Nations on investigation and establishment of facts of violations of  human rights”, “International legal problems of protection of the rights of  environmental refugees”, etc. The Commission highly appreciated all of the  theses, submitted for defence. The defence in an unusual format went off  brilliantly.</p>
