Participation of the professors of the Partner Universities of the Consortium in Advanced training courses

Advanced training courses (with elements of distance learning) for professors of the partner universities of the Consortium were held on 25 and 26 November 2019 at RUDN University, on the topic: “Business and Human Rights”. The event was attended by 20 professors from partner universities of the Consortium. Theorists and practitioners in the field of business and human rights spoke to the audience, including: Professor Aslan Khuseynovich Abashidze (Head of the Department of International Law of the RUDN University, topic: “Actual problems of business and human rights”); Aluash Rashid (Coordinator for the Joint Program of the Russian Federation and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights – topic: “Global trends and changes in business and human rights”); Natalya Feliksovna Kislitsyna (Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and Geopolitics of Transport of the RUT (MIIT), topic: “Evolution of the legal framework for the protection of human rights in the field of international business”; Alexander Mikhailovich Solntsev (Deputy Head of the Department of International Law of the RUDN University, topic: “Human rights to water and sanitation: activities and responsibilities of non-state actors”); Valentina Polyakova (Leading Legal Adviser of FBK Legal, topic: “Agenda related to business and human rights and the existing legal and political landscape in the Russian Federation”); Stanislav Mikhailovich Kopylov (Associate Professor Department of International Law, RUDN University, topic: “Renewable/Alternative Energy and Human Rights”), etc. All 20 Consortium professors have successfully completed advanced training courses and received state certificates.
