In the first part of the event, Lada Sergeevna Nizhnik, Chief Consultant of the Department for the Protection of Land and Environmental Rights of the Office for the Protection of Economic and Political Rights, spoke to the audience. During the lecture, students were able to get acquainted with the mechanisms for protecting land and environmental rights of citizens by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation.

Future lawyers and human rights activists, using concrete examples, have analyzed how a citizen can independently protect his right to a favorable environment.

The second part of the event was devoted to the topic of protecting the rights of victims and other participants in the criminal process in the activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation.

The lecture was conducted by Yulia Vladimirovna Danilina, Adviser of the Department for Analysis and Improvement of Criminal and Criminal Procedural Legislation of the Department for the Protection of Human Rights in Criminal Procedure.

At the end of the event, the lecturer answered numerous questions from the audience.
