On 15 October, Tuesday, the rector of the Russian State University for the Humanities, Alexander Bezborodov, the dean of the Faculty of Archival Affairs Elena Malysheva and students of the Faculty of Archival Affairs took part in the All-Russian scientific and practical conference dedicated to the period of the 1980-s.

The event took place in the Federation Council and was timed to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the Soviet and Russian statesman, Chairman of the USSR Council of Ministers Nikolai Ryzhkov.

Members of the Federation Council, Doctors of Sciences, professors, academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences, public and also political figures spoke at the conference with reports and words of congratulations to Nikolai Ivanovich.

Nikolai Ryzhkov spoke about his experience in the civil service, presented the participants of the conference with a relevant, in his opinion, range of problems in the field of public administration, and also shared his vision of the pivotal political changes that took place in our country in the early 1990s.
