International Round Table "Human Rights and Modern Technologies"

In December, traditionally, students and teachers of law faculties and law universities, practicing lawyers from different countries, Russian and regional human rights commissioners celebrate several holidays related to law and human rights at once.

December 3rd is Lawyer's Day in Russia. December 10 is annually celebrated in Russia and the world, in general, Human Rights Day. December 12 in Russia is Constitution Day.

December 17, 2022, with the support of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Sverdlovsk Region, the International Round Table "Human Rights and Modern Technologies" will be held remotely. The round table is dedicated to Human Rights Day. In the development of human rights, modern technologies, including information and digital ones, are of great importance. Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of December 1, 2016 No. 642 approved the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation. This document defines priority areas for the development of science, within which technologies are created and used, solutions are implemented that most effectively respond to big challenges. Countering the threat of big challenges - the solution of complex economic and social problems is directly related to the development of modern technologies, the introduction of which provides a person with new legal opportunities, contributes to the emergence of new human rights.

Master's students, graduate students, teachers, practicing lawyers from Russia and CIS countries are invited to participate. Applications for participation are accepted by e-mail - glsvig@yandex.ru dep. Chairman Glushkova S.I. The application must indicate your full name, country, city, place of study / work, faculty / institute / department, position (for teachers and practitioners), academic degree and title (for teachers), participation format (listener, discussion participant, speaker) , topic of the report. Time for performance - from 10 to 15 minutes.
