VIII INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL
"HUMAN RIGHTS FOR NEW GENERATIONS"
(June 28 - July 2, 2021, Kazan)
June 28 - July 2, 2021 on the basis of one of the oldest universities in Russia - Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, the VIII International Summer School "Human Rights for New Generations" will be held in cooperation with the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan and with the support of local authorities, including the government and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Summer School will aim to engage a broad youth audience to help build a culture of human rights and give them an understanding of how each of them can stand up for human rights.
The event was organized as part of the interuniversity master's program "International Protection of Human Rights", implemented by the Consortium of Russian Universities with the support of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).
The Summer School program will be built within the framework of three thematic clusters::
"Human Rights and Climate Change";
"Human Rights and Migration";
"Human Rights and Youth Participation".
