Igor Vladimirovich Fyodorov

Graduated from the Ural State Law Academy in 1999.

Since 2001 is a member of the Russian Association of International Law.

In 2002 he successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis “Civil and Arbitration Proceedings as a Subject of Joint International Legal and Domestic Regulation” (scientific advisor – Professor Gennady Vladimirovich Ignatenko)

In 2007 he received the academic title of associate professor of the department.

Since 2002 – lecturer and later senior lecturer and associate professor of the Department of International and European Law of the Ural State Law University.

Since 2003 – Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the “Russian Law Journal”, and since December 2009 – Chief Editor of the “Russian Law Journal”.

From 2011 to the present – member of the Scientific Advisory Council on International Law under the Ministry of Justice of Russia.

From 2015 to the present - a member of the European Association of International Law.

Fyodorov I.V. has undergone an internship at the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratization (EIUC), Fr. Lido, Italy (4th Venice Academy for Human Rights, 2015).

Fyodorov I.V. is the author of around 50 published works on international law, including 4 textbooks, 10 learning guides. The main problematic of scientific publications is the procedural aspects of international law, including in the context of the application of international law in national courts.
