Professors from seven Russian universities of the Consortium have undergone training in the Summer Academy in Venice.
From 26 to 30 June 2017 in Yekaterinburg the 5th Summer School on Human Rights “Social Vulnerability: Contemporary Challenges and International Protection” of the of the Consortium of the Russian Universities with assistance of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights was held.
More than 150 students from all over Russia took part in the fifth Summer School on Human Rights, organized by the Consortium of nine Russian universities implementing the Master's Program in Human Rights. This year the School was held on the basis of the Ural State Law University in Yekaterinburg (Russia) on June 26-30.
In June 2017 51 graduates from eight universities of the Consortium of Russian Universities implementing the Program with the support of the UNHCHR, received master’s degrees in human rights.

On 24-26 April 2017 at the Resource Centre for Human Rights, functioning on the basis of the Department of International Law of the RUDN University, professor of the Department of International Law of the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary) Boldizsár Nagy read a series of lectures on the pressing issues in the area of human rights.
On 17 May 2017 the annual Report on the activities of the Ombudswoman in the Russian Federation for 2016 was published, which reflects the main trends in the human rights sphere, the nature and number of complaints received by the Ombudswoman.
