Svetlana Igorevna Glushkova

In 1990 she graduated from the Faculty of History of the Ural Federal University of the first President of Russia Yeltsin B.N.

From 1991 to 1994 studied in postgraduate education program, and since 2001 in doctoral studies at the Ural Federal University.

1995 to 2005 – Associate Professor at the Department of Public Law of the Liberal Arts University.

From 1995 to the present – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Liberal Arts University.

From 2005 to the present – Head and Professor of the Human Rights Department of the Law Faculty of the Liberal Arts University.

From 2005 to the present – Director of the Centre for Legal Education and Human Rights of the Liberal Arts University.

Glushkova S. I. is a co-director of the master's program “Legal protection and legal security of the individual” (together with the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Doctor habilitatus (law), Professor Semitko A.P.).

From 2008 to the present – visiting professor at the University of Paris-West (France).

Glushkova S.I. completed an internship at the University of Paris-West (France). Participated in the grant program of the American Councils for International Education (2004).

From 2004 to 2014 – Member of the Expert Council of the Ombudsman in the Russian Federation.

Glushkova S.I. is the winner of the competition of grants of the President of the Russian Federation for young doctors habilitatus (2004). Glushkova S.I. is also a member of the editorial board of the journal “Bulletin of the Humanitarian University” and a member of the editorial board of the refereed journal “Theories and problems of political research”.

Glushkova S.I. is the author of more than 80 published works on the theory and history of human rights, history of political and legal sciences, protection of human rights, including 5 monographs (including collective ones), 2 textbooks, articles in the “Dictionary - a reference book on human rights” and the encyclopaedic dictionary on human rights.
